パンク前後のJohn Cale：Sabotage...Live(Including "Animal justice e.p." CD Reissue)*未購入

 昔Heatwaveがパーソナリティーのラジオ番組で，たった一回きり流れた"Chickenshit"が忘れられない．「ムチャクチャな曲だなあ」(当時）．だが前々年のアルバム収録のよりムチャクチャな”Pablo Picasso”('75)にせよ，よく聴くと楽曲はきっちり構成的なので，ムチャクチャなのはケイルその人のパワーなのだろう．何はともあれ，この時期のケイルのジャケのセンスは一線を越えている．

どちらもV.A.『太陽の宮殿』から．1.のカースティ・マッコールがラジオ体操してるような歌声は，まるで明け方のアノラックの趣き．拾い物．2.Deux Fillesしか聴いたことがなかったルクセンブルグ王の別ワーク．Ｄ・コラムがケルト脱構築しながら，独り屋内に戻るかのようにベースとドラムの端正な絡みに落ち着く，というおもしろい曲．音素材(Vo.の合いの手)もインディ･ダンス勢と一味違う本格指向(Classical)だ．クレプスキュールやクラムド製の西欧エスノよりも緻密で，MiniaturesシリーズやVoiceprintから出してもおかしくない人だ(ヒント: モーガン・フィッシャー)．ソロワークを一から聴きたくなった．
